    Description

    Schedule:Part Time | 24 hours/pay period | Monday to Friday | flexible scheduling 

    Pay Range: $20.00- $25.00/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

    As a Home Health Aide, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. Through personal care, companionship, and home support, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing their quality of life while ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

    As a Home Health Aide, you will: 

    • Provide Direct Care – Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, simple wound care, and other personal care tasks as directed by a nurse or therapist.
    • Maintain a Safe Home Environment – Perform client-directed light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and comfortable living space.
    • Document & Communicate Effectively – Accurately record client care per policy and report updates or concerns to the supervising nurse or therapist.
    • Enhance Social Well-Being – Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families, providing compassionate companionship and emotional support. 
    • Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.  

    This job also requires: 

    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
    • Ability to follow care plans and work independently in a home setting. 
    • Knowledge of safe lifting and transfer techniques.
    • Experience in home health, long-term care, or personal caregiving is preferred but not required. 
    • Valid driver’s license and access to an insured personal vehicle for home visits. 
    • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions, including assisting with client mobility and personal care needs. 
    • Ability to pass state mandated background check. 
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with clients, staff, and families.
