Home Health Aide Location: Irving, TX Pay Rate: $28,000 to $38,000 per year
Position Overview We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Home Health Aides to join a growing team of healthcare professionals serving the Irving, Texas community. This is a full-time, field-based position where you will travel to client homes and provide essential personal care and support services to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral care
Support clients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and safe ambulation
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines or physician recommendations
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to maintain a clean living environment
Monitor and document changes in client health status, behavior, or mood and report findings to supervising clinical staff
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients experiencing isolation or loneliness
Assist with medication reminders as directed by a supervising nurse or care coordinator
Accompany clients to medical appointments or community activities when necessary
Maintain accurate and timely care documentation using provided tools or electronic systems
Follow all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and care plan instructions at all times
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Current Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred but not required for all positions
Minimum of six months of experience providing direct personal care to elderly or disabled individuals
Valid Texas driver's license and reliable personal transportation
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written care instructions
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with mobility tasks
Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as client needs require
Genuine compassion and a commitment to treating all clients with dignity and respect
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a related field is preferred
