There For You Home Care Services a Division of UniversaCare is hiring certified Home Health Aides in Waterbury, CT and surrounding towns. As a Medicare-certified home health agency (CT DPH License 9915730), our aides work under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist to help patients recover and stay safe at home. Full-time and part-time schedules, weekdays and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance
- Assist with exercises and activities assigned by the nurse or therapist
- Take and record vital signs; observe and report changes in condition
- Light housekeeping, meal preparation and medication reminders
- Document each visit accurately in our clock-in app
Requirements
- Connecticut Home Health Aide certification or CNA on the Connecticut Nurse Aide Registry (required)
- Prior home care or facility experience preferred
- Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, paid weekly.
