Your Role as a Caregiver

As an HHA or PCA, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

• Supporting mobility, transfers, and ambulation

• Preparing meals and providing medication reminders

• Assisting with light housekeeping and daily household tasks

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and community activities

• Monitoring and reporting changes in client conditions

• Following individualized care plans and agency procedures

• Encouraging independence and promoting clients' overall well-being

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Massachusetts HHA or PCA certification

• Current TB documentation

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Minimum availability of 20 hours per week

• Strong communication skills, dependability, and professionalism

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving

Previous home care experience is preferred but not required.
