Home Health Aide (HHA) – Columbus, OH 43235
Pay: $16.00/hour
Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 28 hours/week
Job Summary
We are seeking a
mature, dependable, and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care for a client in Columbus, OH 43235.
The client has
COPD and uses nasal oxygen (O) and has
diabetes. The home also has a
companion dog and cat, so applicants must be comfortable around pets.
Schedule
- Monday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM & 7:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM & 7:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Total: 28 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and personal care
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Assist with safe mobility as needed
- Follow the client's care plan
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition
- Provide attentive care to a client using supplemental oxygen
Qualifications
- HHA, PCA, caregiver, or home care experience preferred
- Mature, reliable, and compassionate
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working around dogs and cats
- Comfortable caring for a client with chronic health conditions
- Able to commit to the scheduled hours
