Home Equity Processing Specialist

Temporary Assignment (3-6 Months) | Beavercreek, OH

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

Do you have mortgage processing experience and an eye for detail? We're looking for a Home Equity Processing Specialist to join a growing team on a temporary assignment supporting a Home Equity department.

In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping mortgage records accurate and up to date - from handling insurance updates and recordings to supporting income and employment verification requests. This is a great opportunity for someone with mortgage industry experience, particularly in recordings, satisfactions, or processing, who thrives on accuracy and structured, detail-driven work.

What You'll Do

• Process Hazard/Homeowners Insurance (HOI) mortgagee updates for Home Equity loans and 1st mortgages, including phone and email contact with insurance agents
• Record mortgages and satisfactions
• Prepare mortgage satisfactions
• Process VOI/VOE (Verification of Income/Employment) requests for 1st mortgages, including phone and email contact with employers and, when needed, members
• Support a tracking update project as needed
• Perform data entry, researching information in one system and accurately transferring it to another

What You'll Need

• Accurate data entry skills and strong typing proficiency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience with data validation and verification

Nice to Have

• Mortgage industry experience, especially with recordings, satisfactions, or processing
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Process adherence and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal communication and team collaboration skills
• Problem-solving and error detection/correction abilities
• Comfort with data accuracy monitoring
