Mission Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, a Southern Home Services Company, is growing—and we’re looking for a Home Comfort Systems Service Specialist to keep our customers’ homes safe, efficient, and comfortable.

What You’ll Do

• Service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across residential and commercial environments with a focus on safety and performance.
• Clean, adjust, and fix components such as air handlers, ductwork, vents, and condensate drainage assemblies.
• Diagnose and perform service work on HVAC systems in residential settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Consult with homeowners, explain findings in plain language, and offer professional recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records, follow industry standards, and keep job sites clean and organized.
• Additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 2–5+ years of HVAC experience (residential emphasis preferred).
• EPA Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Sharp diagnostic abilities and strong critical-thinking skills.
• Quality-focused mindset with a positive, professional demeanor.
• Customer service excellence and the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and innovative; comfortable in fast-moving environments.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
• Ability to drive.
• Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
• The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
