What you’ll do
- Diagnose performance problems in residential HVAC systems and recommend solutions.
- Repair and maintain furnaces, A/C units, and heat pumps.
- Install and commission new HVAC equipment to spec.
- Communicate clearly with customers about options, timelines, and care tips.
- Record all work performed and parts used with accuracy.
- Follow safety standards, codes, and company procedures on every job.
- Stay current with evolving HVAC tools, technologies, and best practices.
Must-haves
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade schooling a plus.
- Active HVAC technician certification or license.
- EPA Type II required; EPA Universal preferred.
- Hands-on experience servicing residential HVAC systems.
- Sharp troubleshooting skills and a solutions mindset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
