Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers. In this role, you will provide essential in-home support and care to our clients in Ypsilanti, MI, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent care in a respectful and supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health and well-being
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
• Ability to pass background checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
