Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide in-home support and assistance to individuals in Clawson, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by helping with daily tasks and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Provide medication reminders and support according to care plans
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Support clients with mobility and transfers safely
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related fields is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients
• Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to client confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required
• Willingness to undergo background checks
