Home Care Operations Manager – Client Care & Consultations
Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda | Full-Time | $65,000–$80,000 DOE
When a family calls us, they’re usually in one of the hardest moments of their lives. We need the person who takes that call, sits at their kitchen table, builds the care plan, and makes sure we deliver on every promise. This is a home care role, not a hospital, clinic, or facility position. You’ll work with seniors and families in their own homes.
What You’ll Own
- Intake and consultations: take inquiry calls, conduct in-home consultations, explain services and pricing, and help families start care with confidence
- Plans of care: build them, update them, and make sure caregivers follow them
- Client satisfaction and retention: Own client satisfaction through regular check-ins, quality visits and care conferences, catching small problems before they become cancellations
- Escalations: when a client or family is upset, it comes to you, and you do your best to resolve it with calm, urgency, and follow-through
- Caregiver support: client introductions, field coaching, training, and reinforcing expectations
- Leadership: partner with scheduling, recruiting, and billing, help lead coordination team, and hold a real seat at the leadership table
You’ll Thrive Here If You
- Have 3+ years working directly with seniors and families in the home: non-medical home care, home health intake, hospice, or private care management
- Have conducted consultations or assessments, and are comfortable discussing pricing and asking families to move forward
- Stay warm and steady when emotions run high, but can still set a boundary or have the hard conversation
- Are organized, document everything, and close loops without being reminded
- Want ownership and a voice in how the company runs, not just a task list
A nursing license is not required. This is a non-medical role, and we value home care and family experience. Spanish is a plus.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, with significant time in the field across North Orange County and surrounding areas. Shared on-call rotation with 4–5 office team members, about one weekend a month. You must be able to reach client homes in our service area within about 20–30 minutes.

- $60,000–$80,000 salary, based on directly related experience
