Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide in-home support for clients in Oak Park, MI. In this role, you will help individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as directed.
• Manage medication reminders and monitor client health condition changes.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes in Oak Park, MI.
• Background check.
