Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in Canton, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health and well-being.
• Support mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Communicate regularly with family members and supervisors about client status and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with compassion.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within Canton, MI.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet company standards.
