Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure home automation systems, including Control4, lighting, HVAC, and security systems
- Perform low voltage wiring, pre-wiring, and terminations
- Install TVs, speakers, surveillance systems, motorized shades, and networking equipment
- Set up and troubleshoot home networks and Wi-Fi systems
- Program and integrate smart home systems for seamless performance
- Read and execute work based on plans, schematics, and project scopes
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both on-site and remotely
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Provide excellent customer service and client communication
Required:
- Experience in low voltage, A/V, or home automation installation
- Basic to strong understanding of networking (IP, routers, Wi-Fi)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience with Control4, Josh AI, Elan, or similar systems
- Advanced knowledge of audio/video systems
- Basic construction knowledge (drilling, cable routing, framing awareness)
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
