Role Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to customer residences
- Diagnose and repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and other major appliances
- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using proper test equipment
- Educate customers on findings, options, and maintenance best practices
- Deliver outstanding customer service at every visit
- Manage parts inventory and complete service documentation in the mobile app
- Maintain a clean, well-organized service truck
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA Type I Certification (assistance available if you do not yet hold it)
- Proven mechanical aptitude; appliance repair experience preferred
- Comfort with diagnostic/repair tools and smartphone-based workflows
- Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record
- Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Lift and move appliances, parts, and tools
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Regular bending, kneeling, squatting, crawling, climbing; work in tight spaces
- Stand, walk, drive, and use hand tools throughout the day
- Work safely in customer homes and various environments
