Holy Cross Ministries Volunteer Coordinator 2027-2028
The Holy Cross Ministries mission is to build local organizational capacity, address the systemic root causes of generational poverty, and to promote self-sufficiency among underserved and immigrant families. The Volunteer Coordinator will increase Holy Cross Ministries'' capacity to serve low-income immigrant and refugee individuals and families by developing, implementing, and sustaining a volunteer program. The member will recruit, train, engage, and support volunteers while building the systems, resources, and processes necessary for long-term program sustainability and growth. The project will strengthen community engagement and expand the organization''s ability to address health-related and poverty-related needs. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.
Member Duties : The Holy Cross Ministries Volunteer Coordinator will develop a sustainable volunteer management program by building and improve systems that support recruitment, onboarding, tracking, engagement and retention. The VISTA will also be required to build sustainable organizational capacity by designing and implementing robust volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and engagement frameworks to ensure long-term capability by developing standardized volunteer inquiry and onboarding procedures, create orientation and training materials for continued staff use etc. Additionally, the VISTA will leverage volunteer resources to increase Holy Cross Ministries'' capacity to deliver services and support community-based initiatives.
