Job Title: HIT - EPIC Willow Inpatient Analyst
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Requirement:
Description Build, configure, and maintain Epic Willow Applications to support workflows for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in Inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings.
Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, pharmacy operational partners, and epic Willow end users to gather requirements and optimize system functionality.
Support integration of Epic Willow applications with other software applications like Omnicell, Infusion pumps, and third-party packaging solutions.
Troubleshoot issues, perform system maintenance, and provide end-user support for pharmacy workflows and pharmacy operations. Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, validation, and optimization activities.
Develop and maintain documentation, workflow designs, and training materials for clinical, operational, and IT staff.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, including HIPAA and imaging-related requirements. Partner with project managers, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver Epic-related initiatives on time and within scope.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Healthcare Administration or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or 4+ years of direct Epic willow application support experience in a healthcare environment in lieu of a degree.
Epic Willow Ambulatory or Epic Willow inpatient Certification, or ability to obtain certification within an agreed-upon timeframe following hire.
Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience with additional epic applications that work with Epic Willow Applications, like Compass rose, EpicCare Ambulatory, and EpicCare Inpatient. Experience building eRx records, orderable records, panel records and/or ordersets.
Familiar with pharmacy supporting epic functionality like Clinical Documentation, Orders and One-Step Medications Familiar with Epic interoperability tools, including Bridges, and experience troubleshooting interfaces and data exchange issues.
Prior involvement in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, or workflow redesign projects.
Experience supporting healthcare information systems and integrated clinical applications.
