Job Description

Qualifications: A bachelor"s degree in a related field and completion of a master's degree in a relevant field within three years of hire in the role. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent. Seven (7) years of work experience in a laboratory setting with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
Provides management and oversight of Histopathology to ensure quality testing, fiscal responsibility, and volume-based staffing targets are met.

Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelor"s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management experience State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
