Histology Technician / Technologist
Location: Seabrook, New Hampshire
Hours: 3rd shift
Employment Type: Full-time, Benefit Eligible
Responsibilities:
- Perform embedding and preparation of slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and document activities
- Identify and address troubleshooting needs for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory setting with biological and chemical hazards
- Ensure safety, compliance, and quality control standards
Requirements:
- Experience in microtomy and embedding
- Minimum of 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors of Science degree preferred
- Completion of a histotechnology program preferred
- Certification as a histotechnician (HT) or histotechnologist (HTL) by ASCP preferred
- State licensure, if applicable
