Histology Technician in Southern Kentucky!

Histology Technician - Southern Kentucky - Permanent Hire - CLICK AND APPLY!

• Reception of patient specimens.

• Required preparation processes for specimen examination.

• Maintenance of histology laboratory area, including equipment cleaning as indicated.

• Knowledge and adherence of all department and facility policies and procedures.

• Accurate and timely documentation.

• Monitoring of inventory.

• Assisting Pathologist within the scope of practice for Histology Technician role/s.

• Performance of other duties as necessary or assigned.

Required:

• Bachelors or better in Biology or related field.
• High School or Equivalent.

Experience:

• 5 + years of experience within a histology laboratory setting highly preferred
