We are recruiting for a Histology Technician to join a hospital laboratory in Mid-Michigan, in the greater Lansing–Flint region.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination

• Perform tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining

• Assist with special stains and other histology procedures as assigned

• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality-control documentation

• Follow established safety, quality, and specimen-handling procedures

• Work collaboratively with pathologists and laboratory personnel

Qualifications

• Education and experience in histology or a related laboratory discipline

• Experience with histology techniques and tissue preparation

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• HT/HTL certification or eligibility is a plus; specific certification requirements will be confirmed during screening
