KA Recruiting is seeking an experienced Histology Supervisor for a healthcare facility in the Miami area. This opportunity offers department leadership responsibilities and a daytime schedule.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure accurate, timely testing.

• Lead staff scheduling, hiring, performance evaluations, and competency assessments.

• Manage quality assurance and process improvement.

• Coordinate with other supervisors to support smooth shift transitions.

Requirements

• Associate of Science degree in Histology required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Current Florida Clinical Laboratory Histology Supervisor license.

• At least five years of histology and immunohistochemistry (IHC) experience, including IHC validations.

• Strong knowledge of College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements.

• Proficiency with laboratory information systems and PC applications.

• Excellent communication skills.
