NEW Anatomic Pathology/ Histology Laboratory Operations Manager opening at a specialized laboratory in the Greater Phoenix area! This is an exciting opportunity for a laboratory leader who enjoys developing teams, improving workflows, and supporting high-quality patient care.

This laboratory is seeking a permanent and full-time Laboratory Operations Manager for a day-shift position. The manager will partner with physician and regional leadership to oversee laboratory operations, strengthen team performance, and support continued growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily laboratory operations, staffing, productivity, and turnaround times.

• Hiring, training, coaching, and developing laboratory employees.

• Managing budgets, labor utilization, equipment, and operational resources.

• Maintaining regulatory compliance, quality standards, and inspection readiness.

• Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and client service.

For consideration, applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, along with HT or HTL (ASCP) certification. Candidates should bring at least three years of progressive laboratory or healthcare operations experience and three years of direct leadership experience. Previous leadership within histology, dermatopathology, anatomic pathology, or a clinical laboratory is required. Experience with budgeting, performance management, and laboratory regulatory standards is also essential.
