Grossing Supervisor – Full Time

Location: Greater Seattle, WA 
Pay: $30–$55/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday Grossing Operations

A well-established, physician-owned dermatopathology laboratory in the greater Seattle area is seeking an experienced Grossing Supervisor to join its team!

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone with a strong background in grossing or histology who enjoys mentoring staff, maintaining quality standards, and overseeing daily laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily grossing operations and laboratory workflow.

• Oversee preparation and processing of dermatologic tissue specimens.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate grossing technicians.

• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory leadership.

• Maintain specimen accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Assist with grossing procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of dermatopathology or clinical laboratory experience.

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience required.

• Grossing or histology experience required.

• Dermatopathology experience preferred.

• HT/HTL (ASCP) certification preferred.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
