    Description

    Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for  multiple travel / contract positions in Dartmouth, MA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates. 


    Position Details:

    Position Name: Registered Nurse Behavioral Health

    Location: Dartmouth, Massachusetts

    Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

    Contract Length:13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

    Pay Rate: Range $2080 to $2120 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

    Unit: Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s

    Shifts available: Evenings

    Shift Timings: 8 Hours; Evenings, 3.00p to 11.30p

    Schedule: 40 hours/week guaranteed, 5 shifts per week, EOW

    Position Requirements:

    • Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
    • Recent/Current Psychiatric Nursing or Behavioral health: 1 year – Required
    • Experience with Adolescents and Child patient population
    • Paper charting experience

    Education, License and Certification Requirements:

    • ASN or an equivalent – Required
    • BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
    • RN License for State of MA - Required
    • BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required
    • CPI or HWC Certification - Preferred

    Job Description:

    • Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs for Adolescents through Geriatric patients, work in Children units if required.
    • Develop and implement nursing care plans.
    • The RN will maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
    • The RN will provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures.
    • Ensure physicians’ orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure.
    • Ensure patients’ status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information is gathered and documented.
    • Notify physicians of significant changes in status
    • Comfortable with paper charting
    • The RN will ensure that initial nursing treatment plans are completed upon admission and that all nursing treatment plans are specific to assessed needs.
