    Position Title: Inpatient Psychiatrist 
    Location: Durham, Connecticut
    Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent

    Our client, a highly regarded and well-established behavioral health organization, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join their expanding team in Durham, Connecticut. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a dedicated psychiatrist looking to provide high-quality mental health care within a structured inpatient setting.

    Qualifications:

    • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

    • Completion of an accredited residency in Psychiatry

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

    • Eligible for or currently hold a Connecticut medical license

    • Must be eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal/state healthcare programs

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment for patients

    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

    • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

    • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams, including nursing, social work, and therapy staff

    • Participate in treatment team meetings and case reviews

    • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

    • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
