Our organization operates multiple JETSET Pilates studios and additional locations may also be available depending on each candidate’s preferred commute, schedule, and geographic location.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

JETSET Pilates is seeking enthusiastic, motivating, and skilled Pilates Instructors and Group Fitness Coaches to join our teams in Parsippany and Montclair.

As a JETSET Pilates Instructor, you will lead energetic, results-driven group classes and deliver an elevated fitness experience centered on strength, control, endurance, flexibility, and core development.

JETSET Pilates offers a modern approach to reformer Pilates through immersive, 50 minute, high-intensity, low-impact, full-body workouts. Classes combine strength training, cardio, and Pilates-inspired movement using custom JETSET reformers and seamless transitions.

We are looking for instructors who can command a room, connect authentically with clients, deliver clear and confident coaching, and create an inclusive experience that keeps members engaged and excited to return.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead high-energy, results-driven group classes using the JETSET method and custom reformer equipment.
• Deliver clear, confident, and precise instruction throughout every class.
• Coach proper form, alignment, pacing, and equipment use.
• Provide appropriate modifications and progressions for clients at varying fitness levels.
• Motivate clients while creating a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and contribute to a strong studio community.
• Deliver a consistent, premium experience that reflects JETSET Pilates standards.
• Arrive prepared and begin and end every class on time.
• Maintain a professional, polished, dependable, and approachable presence.
• Support the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the studio and equipment.
• Participate in required instructor training, continuing education, and team development.
• Stay current on Pilates, group fitness, and client-experience best practices.

REQUESTED EXPERIENCE:

• Pilates or reformer Pilates
• Group fitness
• Personal training
• Barre
• Yoga
• Dance
• Strength and conditioning
• Athletic coaching
• Other movement-based disciplines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pilates certification is preferred but not required.
• Group fitness or personal training certification is preferred.
• Prior experience leading group classes, coaching clients, teaching movement, or performing in front of groups is strongly preferred.
• Candidates must possess strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates should be energetic, reliable, coachable, and comfortable leading a full room.
• Availability during early mornings, evenings, and weekends is highly valued.
• Selected candidates must successfully complete JETSET Pilates Instructor Training.

NO PILATES CERTIFICATION? WE STILL WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU. A current Pilates certification is not required to be considered. Candidates with strong group fitness, personal training, dance, barre, yoga, athletic coaching, or related movement experience are encouraged to apply.

Selected candidates will complete JETSET Pilates Instructor Training to prepare them to teach the JETSET method.
