As a Production Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in supporting daily production operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient workflows. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to meet and exceed production goals while adhering to safety standards.
What You'll Do
As a Production Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for
Operating packaging equipment such as bagging, baler machines, shrink wrap machines, forklifts, pallet jacks, and bag sealers efficiently and safely.
Performing quality inspections on bags to ensure proper seals and packaging standards are met.
Assisting in other production areas as needed to support seamless operations and meet daily targets.
Moving finished pallets with a forklift to designated stacking areas.
Using skid steers or front-end loaders to load feed bins and ensure smooth material handling.
Supporting Shift Leads with pellet mill operations, including identifying and reporting material or moisture issues.
Performing basic maintenance tasks, such as greasing mills, changing or sharpening blades, and troubleshooting minor repairs to minimize downtime.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
A high school diploma or equivalent.
25 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts.
Knowledge of manufacturing systems is a plus.
Ability to lift and maneuver 4070 lb bags regularly.
Willingness to learn and operate equipment such as chainsaws.
Strong attention to safety procedures and attention to detail.
