As a Welder, youll role purpose. Youll work closely with your team to produce high-quality welded products that meet safety and quality standards.
What Youll Do As a Welder, you will be responsible for
- Performing MIG welding using a positioner with .045 and .035 wire
- Completing welds primarily from a seated position
- Welding flanges, spools, and various pipe/cylindrical components
- Inspecting welds for quality and accuracy
- Preparing materials by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting
- Replacing wire and adjusting welding settings as needed
- Changing gas tanks when necessary
What Youll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Completion of a welding program or prior welding experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Strong measurement and math skills
- Familiarity with common shop tools and equipment
