    Our client, Job Corps, is a national career training program dedicated to empowering young adults. We are partnering with them to establish an IT Academy Pilot Program that is a dynamic, structured program designed to equip young adults with both the technical expertise and essential durable skills needed for high-demand IT careers. As a Part-Time IT Academy Instructor, you'll play a vital role in preparing the next generation for success in the tech industry.


    Requirements

    Primary Responsibilities: 

    • Facilitate online and hybrid learning with in-person instructor support, fostering collaboration, experiential activities, and holistic development all aligned with a pre-designed curriculum.

    • Collaborate with industry experts to enhance the student experience

    • Support students' academic and emotional growth

    • Prepare students for industry-recognized certifications (ISC2 CC, Data+, DataSys+)

    • Utilize learning management systems to track student progress

    • Participate in program evaluation and improvement

    Qualifications:

    • Strong technical expertise in IT fields (programming, networking, cybersecurity, data analytics)

    • 5+ years of industry experience in a relevant IT role

    • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering a positive learning environment

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new technologies

    • Commitment to Job Corps' mission and values
