Hiring for DB2 DBA - Remote

Title: DB2 DBA DB2 / SFTP / JRB

Location: Texas or Remote

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Primary Platforms: DB2, SFTP, JRB

Monitor platform health for DB2 subsystems, SFTP services, and JRB processing across development, test, QA, and production environments.

Respond to incidents and alerts impacting DB2, file transfers, or job processing, providing timely problem determination and resolution.

Work with developers on planning, testing, and troubleshooting issues related to DB2 access, SFTP transfers, and JRB job execution.

Analyze failures and errors by reviewing logs, job output, and system messages to identify root cause and corrective actions.

Execute approved changes for TTERM, DB2, SFTP, and JRB in accordance with change management standards.

Perform and support annual software upgrades for DB2, SFTP, and JRB across all environments.

Maintain availability and data integrity, ensuring services remain stable and recoveries are completed correctly.
