Helpmates is hiring a Sit Down Forklift Operator in Cypress! Candidates must have experience operating a sit-down forklift and an electric pallet jack. An updated resume and an in-person interview are required.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with Saturdays as needed. Pay Rate: $20/hr
Job Duties:
Set up the area for the line and manual orders, including bringing pallets, packaging, and raw materials to ensure the production line is well-stocked
Wrap finished good pallets from the line and manual orders to prepare for transport
Transport finished goods using forklift equipment safely and efficiently
Record start and end times of each pallet in the production log to ensure accurate documentation
Locate and file all empty bags from production for recycling or disposal
Support the production team whenever needed to maintain smooth operations
Perform cleaning tasks with the rest of the team to keep the workspace tidy and safe
What You'll Bring:
Valid forklift certification
At least 3 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to safety policies and procedures
