    CI/CD DevOps Engineer (I&O / SvcOps)

    Position Summary:

    The CI/CD Administrator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in driving automation, improving software release frequency, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of DevOps principles and extensive experience with industry-leading CI/CD tools and technologies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
    • Administer and maintain Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) to support development workflows and collaboration.
    • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
    • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to streamline software build, testing, and deployment processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to improve software delivery processes.
    • Implement and enforce security best practices within the CI/CD environment.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging CI/CD technologies and best practices.
    • Document CI/CD processes and configurations.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience1 in CI/CD administration or DevOps engineering.
    • Proven experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and XebiaLabs.
    • Strong knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) administration.
    • Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
    • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and2 as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience3 with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
    • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Jenkins Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
    • Experience working in a government or regulated environment.
