As a Heavy Equipment Yard Jockey, you'll safely move products and materials throughout the plant to support warehouse and production operations. You'll work closely with warehouse and production teams to keep materials moving efficiently and maintain a safe, organized facility.
What You'll Do
As a Heavy Equipment Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for
Safely transporting products and materials between designated locations throughout the plant
Operating yard-moving equipment to support warehouse and production operations
Following established traffic patterns, safety procedures, and operating guidelines
Inspecting equipment before use and reporting mechanical or safety concerns
Communicating with warehouse and production personnel to coordinate material movement
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
No CDL required
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or yard operations experience preferred
Ability to work safely around moving equipment, vehicles, and personnel
Reliable attendance and the ability to follow instructions while working 2nd shift
