Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Hi-Lo Driver and Tugger Operator to support our Shipping and Receiving department. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials throughout the facility, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory and staging processes. We are looking for someone who is a team player and reliable!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down hi-lo (forklift) and tugger equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.
Move materials to and from storage areas, staging lanes, and production lines.
Perform visual inspections on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Verify part numbers, quantities, and quality against packing slips or bills of lading.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory control tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Follow all company policies and OSHA safety guidelines.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating a sit-down hi-lo and tugger in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and labels.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role.
Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
