    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Varsity Girls Basketball Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes during the November–February basketball season. The ideal candidate will be passionate about basketball, committed to student development, and able to create a positive, competitive, and team-oriented environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Plan and conduct practices focused on skill development, teamwork, conditioning, and game preparation.
    • Coach JV games and provide positive leadership from the sidelines.
    • Teach basketball fundamentals, strategy, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
    • Develop players' skills while supporting their academic and personal growth.
    • Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, school staff, and the varsity coaching staff.
    • Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive team environment.
    • Assist with team organization, equipment, and other basketball-related responsibilities as needed.
    • Support the overall goals and philosophy of the school's athletic program.

    Qualifications

    • Previous basketball playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
    • Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and strategy.
    • Ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • Commitment to student-athlete development both on and off the court.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with the head coach and other members of the coaching staff.
    • Ability to meet the scheduling demands of the basketball season.

    Compensation

    $1,500 stipend will be provided for the November–February season.
