The Waterloo School District is accepting applications for a High School Varsity Assistant Football Coach (Offensive Coordinator) for the upcoming school year.
Applicants should possess the skills to work collaboratively with the head coach, athletic department, and other coaching staff within the Waterloo athletic programs. We are seeking a coach who demonstrates strong knowledge of offensive strategy, game planning, and player development at the high school level.
The ideal candidate will assist in building and sustaining a competitive football program, contribute to practice planning and organization, and support in-game coaching responsibilities with an emphasis on offensive coordination. This position requires a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Our assistant coach will be expected to actively support the overall football program, including involvement with youth development during the school year and summer months. Additionally, we are looking for an individual who will instill in participants an appreciation for discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while building positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
