Assumption Middle School and High School is seeking passionate, faith-filled educators to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking candidates' that are joyful, collaborative, and offer actively engaging lessons.
- Courses may include graphic design, desktop publishing, computer applications, and introductory IT
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in assigned subject areas
- Differentiate instruction through a variety of teaching strategies, including small-group and individualized learning
- Maintain a structured, safe, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes a love of learning
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date academic records
- Communicate effectively with students and parents through conferences and ongoing collaboration
- Foster spiritual development and model Catholic values in daily interactions
- Supervise students' and uphold positive behavior expectations aligned with school policies
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
- Adhere to all policies and expectations set forth by the Diocese of La Crosse
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- A demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Assumption Catholic Schools
