    An Instructional Coach is a non-evaluative mentor who partners with teachers to improve instructional strategies, student outcomes, and curriculum implementation through job-embedded professional development. They facilitate coaching cycles, modeling lessons, providing feedback, analyzing data, and supporting research-based practices to foster continuous improvement.

    • Coaching Cycles: Implement non-evaluative coaching cycles, including pre-planning, observation, modeling lessons, co-teaching, and debriefing to provide actionable feedback.
    • Curriculum & Instruction Support: Help teachers understand state standards, utilize district curriculum, and implement effective teaching strategies.
    • Data Analysis: Guide educators in collecting and analyzing student data (formative/summative) to inform instruction and differentiate learning.
    • Professional Development: Plan and facilitate professional development workshops and training for staff.
    • Resource Sharing: Provide teachers with resources, tools, and best practices to improve classroom management and student engagement.
    • Building Relationships: Build trust and foster collaboration among teachers, administrators, and school teams

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Education: Requires a Bachlors Degree. A Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or Leadership is preferred.
    • Experience: Several years of successful classroom teaching experience (PK-12). Teaching experience in high school grade levels is preferred.
    • Content: Mathamatics background required
    • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills.
    • Knowledge: Deep understanding of pedagogy, learning standards, and data-driven instruction.
