Position Overview - Provide specialized high school mathematics instruction to students with disabilities, adapting curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including measurable goals, accommodations, and appropriate instructional supports.
- Track student progress and provide timely progress monitoring and reporting to inform instructional decisions and support student growth.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement and successful participation in the school environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- DESE Certification as a 5–12 Special Education Teacher OR a Master’s degree in Special Education
- Experience teaching mathematics to students with disabilities, including IEP development and progress monitoring/reporting; dual certification or demonstrated expertise in Math is strongly preferred
