Little Chute High School is seeking a positive, energetic, and creative special education teacher with an emphasis on co-teaching in ELA, beginning in the 2026-27 school year.
The candidate will be expected to provide special education services to students with various disabilities in grades 9-12. Each grade level has a special education teacher and this position will work in tandem with the co-teachers. Candidates with a strong knowledge and/or experience providing functional skills instruction is preferred. Previous experience working with high school students is desired, but not required.
The candidate will have knowledge of current educational methodology and practices related to the provision of specially designed instruction for special education students. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of appropriate assessment techniques and IEP development.
The candidate is expected to be an active member of the school community and create a supportive classroom community. There are also coaching or advisor opportunities at the intermediate, middle school and/or the high school level. Candidates interested in being involved in extracurricular activities are strongly encouraged to apply.
