High School Softball Head Coach

Head Softball Coach - 2026-2027 School Year

The Melrose-Mindoro School District is seeking a positive, energetic, and dedicated individual to serve as our Head Softball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are looking for a coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the field. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to building a competitive program while fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and character.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the high school softball program.
• Teach and develop fundamental softball skills while promoting academic success and good sportsmanship.
• Build positive relationships with student-athletes, families, school staff, officials, and the community.
• Coordinate practices, competitions, team travel, equipment, and program needs.
• Support the continued growth of the softball program.
• Ensure compliance with WIAA regulations and district policies.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all student-athletes.

Compensation

Compensation will be based on the Melrose-Mindoro School District co-curricular salary schedule.
