    Job Opening: High School Science Teacher
    Location: Los Angeles, CA 90035
    Schedule: Part-Time Monday-Thursday; schedule varies by day but there will be 8 class periods per week between 3:30 pm - 6:15 pm 

    Responsibilities:

    A boys' yeshiva high school serving the strictly observant Jewish community is seeking a part-time Science Teacher to teach High School Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science to teach classes of 8-12 students per class. The ideal candidate will be strongest in Chemistry and will bring the ability to engage students in meaningful, well-organized science instruction within a values-based educational setting.

    This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, with a varying daily schedule and a total of 8 class periods per week between 3:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years of teaching experience
    • Ability to teach Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science
    • Master's degree in Chemistry or California State certification to teach Chemistry preferred
    • Strongest background in Chemistry preferred

    Compensation: $10,000-$15,000 per section DOE, paid over 10 months
