The Commission is currently seeking a High School Mathematics Teacher to fill a full-time vacancy at Lamberts Mill Academy. Lamberts Mill Academy is a specialized high school designed for students with special needs who require a comprehensive therapeutic approach while receiving a rigorous course of study. Students are able to experience a traditional high school environment in a non-traditional program. Our program blends academic rigor with comprehensive clinical and psychiatric services, social and daily living skills, transition services, as well as a wide range of enrichment programs to meet students at their levels.

  • 8:20 - 2:40 p.m., Monday - Friday
  • Full-Time, 10-Month Position

Requirements:

  • Valid NJDOE Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate or Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND High School Mathematics Certification
  • Prior experience teaching secondary education in public or private schools strongly preferred
  • Prior experience working with adolescents with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities strongly preferred
  • Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills
