As a full-time Reading Interventionist, you'll provide targeted, high-impact literacy support to high school students through small group pull-out sessions and in-class support, working side-by-side with classroom teachers to keep instruction aligned and effective.

Responsibilities:

As a Reading Interventionist with Catapult Learning, you will:

  • Deliver Targeted Instruction: Provide direct, small group pull-out and in-class reading intervention using Catapult Learning's proprietary curriculum and a diagnostic-prescriptive approach.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Partner with classroom teachers through shared planning time, data meetings, and ongoing communication to keep intervention strategies aligned with classroom learning goals and jointly monitor student progress.
  • Monitor Progress: Progress monitor students throughout the school year, using data to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction and make timely instructional adjustments.
  • Engage Families: Conduct parent/guardian outreach, prepare student progress reports, and lead parent conferences to keep families informed and involved in student growth.
  • Grow Professionally: Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development provided by Catapult Learning.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Salary for this role is $74,000, paid on a full-time, salaried basis

Qualifications:
 

What we'll need from you:

The dedicated, student-focused educator we seek has these qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree and teaching license/certification highly preferred
  • Experience teaching or providing reading intervention at the high school level required
  • Strong understanding of literacy instruction, diagnostic assessment, and differentiated instruction
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with teachers, school leaders, and families
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly desired
  • Comfort using data and online platforms for progress monitoring and communication
  • Unwavering belief that all students can learn and grow
