Superintendent

young
men
and

their

capabilities

the
fullest
extent.
To
develop
positive
attitudes;

promote
clean,
aggressive

stress

sportsmanship,
self-discipline

RESPONSIBILITIES :
1.
Coordinates
overall
program
for
the
sport
within
the
district.
2.
Plans
and
schedules
in-season
and
out-of-season
practice
and
training.
3.
Works
closely
with
the
Athletic
Director
in
scheduling
interscholastic
contests.
4.
Recommends
purchase
of
equipment,
supplies,
uniforms,
and
organizes
end-of-season
inventory
and
care
of
equipment,
uniforms,
and
supplies.
5.
Collects
and
submits
to
the
Athletic
Director
all
required
forms
and
fees.
6.
Monitors
the
safety
conditions
of
facility
or
area
in
which
assigned
sport
is
conducted
and
noties
appropriate
personnel
of
safety
concerns.
7.
Establishes
and
enforces
discipline,
sportsmanship,
and
school
and
team
rules.
8.
Adheres
to
the
policies,
procedures,
guidelines,
and
responsibilities
as
stipulated
in
the
THREE
RIVERS
SCHOOL
DISTRICT
ATHLETIC
HANDBOOK
and
league
and
OHSAA
Constitution
and
Bylaws.
9.
Maintains
positive
support,
public
relations,
and
communication
with
the
school,
community,
parents,
and
media.
10.
Oversees
and
supervises
assistant
coaches
as
to
their
responsibilities
and
professional
growth.
11.
Attends
all
required
league
and
OHSAA
meetings.

12.
Maintains
high
levels
of
sportsmanship
and
personal
integrity
at
all
times.
13.
Performs
other
duties
as
assigned
by
the
Athletic
Director.
Terms
of
Employment
Length
of
contract
and
compensation
will
be
determined
by
the
Board
of
Education
The
employee
shall
remain
free
of
any
alcohol
and
non-prescribed
controlled
substance
abuse
in
the
workplace
throughout
his/her
employment
in
the
district.
Evaluation
Performance
of
this
position
will
be
evaluated
in
accordance
with
provisions
of
the
Board
of
Education's
Policy
on
the
Evaluation
of
Professional
Personnel
and
will
be
completed
by
the
Athletic
Director.
