Step into a day on our floor
You begin by checking your cherry picker and reviewing the replenishment queue. You scan overstock bins, lift to the aisle heights, and precisely pull the right part numbers. Each move is recorded in real time on your tablet so handpick locations stay stocked and easy to access. You rotate inventory using FIFO, verify counts through routine cycle counting, and investigate discrepancies the moment they appear. Between moves, you keep aisles tidy, uphold safety protocols, and coach teammates who are learning the ropes. The result: accurate picks, organized slots, and a warehouse that runs smoothly.
What you’ll do
- Operate a cherry (order) picker to pull part numbers from overstock locations with accuracy.
- Transport and replenish items to the correct handpick locations.
- Execute real-time inventory movements to keep product accessible.
- Maintain organization in the warehouse; ensure correct slotting and labeling.
- Perform regular cycle counts and investigate inventory variances as needed.
- Apply FIFO by moving older stock forward.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Follow departmental policies and procedures with professionalism.
- Comply with all safety rules as well as applicable federal and state regulations.
- Support additional warehouse tasks as assigned.
What makes you a great fit
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on cherry picker experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when reading and handling part numbers.
- Ability to be MHE certified and safely operate various types of forklift equipment.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Confidence to train other replenish clerks effectively.
- Comfort using tablets and scanners for inventory processing.
- Working knowledge of basic computer programs for data entry.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong self-motivation.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and ability to work in hot or cold temperatures.
