    Description

    The HHR Ambassador/Attendant is responsible for all Players Club, and cash transactions, OTB bets, terminal knowledge, and fixes. Walking the floor to meet, greet, and provide our guests with a good customer experience. Safety and security of customers and overall site processes which follow the WHR company procedures.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Must be 21 years or older.
    • Punctuality: Critical to report for duty 5 minutes before the commencement of morning shifts and 15 minutes before the commencement of night shift changes.
    • Maintain an acceptable level of attendance as absenteeism affects colleagues and the site's operations.
    • Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene at all times in accordance with the procedures and requirements of the company.
    • Cooperate with staff, colleagues, and superiors at all times.
    • Communicate constantly with Manager with regard to matters arising during the shift.
    • Responsible for securing terminal keys, counting cash drawers hourly and at closing of shifts to balance with reports.
    • Assist in floor duties as assigned.
    • Learn money handling to gain experience and organizational skills.
    • Creates Players Club accounts, updates player information and general customer management system functions.
    • Ensures accuracy in all responsibilities, including cash handling, logging, and processing paperwork.
    • Assists guests with OTB bets and handicapping on HHR terminal.
    • Places OTB wagers for customers.
    • Explains Players Club card program benefits, property amenities, and promotions to customers.
    • Have a complete understanding of the WHR employee handbook and adhere to the regulations contained within.
    • Maintain confidentiality concerning company procedures, all company collections (money) from the terminals, safes, company operations and customer information.
    • Handle cash in a secure manner and in accordance with all relevant procedures.
    • Complete all procedures in a secure manner and in accordance to company policies.
    • Complete all customer transactions accurately and in a timely fashion.
    • Assist in the transfer of jackpot money to customers in a confidential and secure process.
    • Ensure the work area (floor & counter) is clean before leaving.
    • Handle all equipment with care on a daily basis.
    • Ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the property's AML (Anti Money Laundering) Policy.
    • Monitor for suspicious activity as defined by the BSA and the property's AML Policy.
    • Undertake limited technical duties under supervision.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Proficient understanding and use of basic mathematical skills.
    • Excellent time management skills.

    Education and Experience:

    • Knowledge of mechanical operations.
    • At least 1 year customer service experience.
    • Gaming industry experience preferred but not required.

    Successful candidates must be 21 or older and able to pass a background check and drug screen. Salary DOE.
