Your future role at a glance:

Location: Tulsa, OK

Facility: Ascension St. John's Medical Center

Specialty: Dialysis

Schedule: Full-Time, 7am-7pm

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the hemodialysis process, directly improving patient well-being and outcomes.
  • Maintain and operate dialysis equipment with precision, helping to deliver life-sustaining treatments to individuals with kidney failure.
  • Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, contributing to a supportive healthcare team and effective patient care.
  • Educate and support patients and their families about the dialysis process, empowering them with knowledge and reassurance.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Hemodialysis Tech credentialed from the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC) obtained within 18 Months (1.5 years) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education: 

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • CCHT Certification strongly preferred 
  • Empathetic communication, strong attention to detail and time management skills
