    Hematology Oncologist

    A regional cancer care program is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified, fellowship-trained Hematology Oncologist to join a growing community-based general oncology practice. This opportunity is well-suited for candidates interested in building and expanding oncology services in a regional setting.

    • Combination of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities, including:
      • Development of treatment plans for newly diagnosed patients
      • Chemotherapy oversight
      • Supervision of advanced practice providers for follow-up care
      • Participation in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings
      • Inpatient rounding at a local hospital
    • Cancer center features include:
      • Infusion suite with 12 infusion spaces
      • 10 patient exam rooms
      • Experienced oncology nursing staff and nurse navigators
      • On-site radiation oncology services
    • Clinical coverage includes patients at the primary location and a nearby satellite clinic
    • Support from a multidisciplinary cancer center team at a tertiary referral site
